Teen Titans #37
Wow, that was good! A more than satisfying conclusion to the first OYL arc. Excellent characterization, real character development, my earlier concerns answered. And a glimpse of some of the twenty members of the Teen Titans that came and went during the year of 52. Cassie mentions her folly regarding the cult of Conner, which apparently, she was not alone in starting. Thus, well, Dev-Em anybody? Apparently there was a martian girl on the team during that year!
My only regrets? Brain and Mallah kiss, but it's off-panel. Oh well, at least Johns got the characterization exactly right. Also, what's up with the cover? "Hell hath no fury like Kid Devil?" He's hardly in the story. And there's certainly no rage from him in it. Still, cover art notwithstanding, this issue was EXCELLENT. If all future arcs are this good, then I will be very happy.
